As a mixed media artist, I explore the relationship between technology and the world. My work comments on humans’ technological impact on our everyday lives. I use various materials, including found objects, recycled electronics, and acrylic paint on wood or canvas.
I enjoy the challenge of taking discarded electronics and giving it new life in my art. My creative process is heavily influenced by my interest in video games, sport, and geography. I often work with geometric forms from recycled electronics and incorporate them into more organic compositions. My work focuses on texture which is brought to life through my painting style and the variety of recycled electronics. I see my work as a way to encourage others to think about the impact technology has on them and the environment.
My goal as an artist is to raise awareness and start a conversation about the impact of technology. Through my work, I hope to inspire others to think more deeply about their relationship with technology and reflect on its impact of the self, reality, and the environment. .
